50 hours in Newark
I missed the plane yesterday, too.
It was completely full, so I didn’t get off the waiting list. They tried to get me onboard the Malaysian Airlines trip to Stockholm, but to no avail. I had been waiting on the airport for many hours already, since the flight was more than three hours delayed, so I was pretty tired when I was told I wouldn’t get to go Stockholm that night, either…
So, the nice feeling from the first extra bonus day in New York (see below) – when I managed to do lots of nice things, including Spice Market and a second night session at the Fulton Fish Market – vanished. This second “bonus” night I had to spend at a terrible motel in New Jersey, Econolodge for $80!
I have been at Newark Airport since 10AM today. Wish me luck with the waiting list this time, because I _have_ to be in Stockholm tomorrow, and can’t stand another night at a creepy motel.
