I’m an Alien in the Job Market
A job I might consider applying for: Läkare utan gränser …. but, to be honest, only if I was going to move back to Sweden anyway… I am not really interested in secure employments!
Press secretaries, as opposed to freelance journalists, get to go out in the field and to humanitarian disaster zones with their expenses covered, but I would miss my freedom. And things remain to be done in New York.
But at some point, when I get old enough, I will probably end up as a press officer in some honorable NGO such as Doctors Without Borders.

I also would like to work for an NGO. I have been reading a web diary at www.hope4dave.com that really shows I think what living in field for an NGO is and what kind of work they do.

But the point is – I don’t want to work for an NGO! I want to work as a freelance journalist, but preferably without its disadvantages…
An NGO employment would be better, more interesting and more fulfilling than many other opportunities, though.
