It’s hot, hot, hot in Harlem

We’re all chocked by the heat – I don’t have any energy for anything… Too bad, since all the travelling recently has made me lag behind severely as of accounting, cleaning, organizing etc.
I used to think it’s kind of sad I won’t be in New York in July, but when I think about it….perhaps it is a good idea not to be here when it’s even warmer and more humid!

The interview with Ambassador Jan Eliasson went well. But, as always, it is very frustrating to have to squeeze a person’s long and fabulous career, thought-provoking opinions, and interesting future plans into a short news text. I wish I had more venues for really long stories and profiles.

Yesterday, I had lunch in a classic Washington hang-out: Old Ebbitt Grill and today, back in Harlem, at a place which I guess is classic in its own right: International House of Pancakes!.
