Gunilla makes débute as sports reporter

I am in Indianapolis! As you know, I love travelling around in strange places, and I guess Indiana certainly qualify.
I am sent here to cover the Indy 500 race on Sunday. Read all about it here:
Indianapolis 500

The reason I am here is purely nationalistic – one of the contenders is a Swede, Kenny Bräck. Here is Fox Sports report on him:
Brack’s comeback well under way
That comeback is The Story I am here to cover as well – Kenny Bräck was extremely close to dying from his accident in Texas in 2003, so it is a miracle that he competes now.

I – and my Swedish collegues – just met him, and got to talk for no less than 45 minutes! It is fabulous to be here – it’s incredibly big, and the motor stadium is large enough to even have a golf course inside the circle. There are all types of motor vehicles everywhere, very exciting! Also, the sun shines…

Stay tuned for more information. I will now race my little rental car to downtown Indianapolis and check in out another cool bed & breakfast (my new big thing when travelling in the USA):
Stone Soup Inn (The Victorian room is mine!)
